THE IRON LID

Silas and Veda lived a life of rhythmic perfection, their world orbiting entirely around their only son, Rhodes. From the moment he was born, he was their masterpiece—a child who grew up in a household where love was as constant as the sunrise. As he matured, Rhodes blossomed into a brilliant young man, eventually enrolling in University to study Engineering. It was there, amidst the blueprints and calculations, that he met Kiara, a sharp and ambitious Business Administration student. They were a perfect synergy of logic and vision; they didn't just fall in love, they built a world together, envisioning a future where his structures would be managed by her brilliance.

However, when Rhodes brought Kiara home, the warmth of his childhood home turned to ice. Silas and Veda, blinded by rigid traditions and a narrow vision of their son's future, refused to accept the relationship. The more Rhodes pleaded, the more his parents retreated into a fortress of disapproval. Caught in a psychological vice between the woman who held his heart and the parents who had given him life, Rhodes’s spirit fractured under the pressure.

One evening, consumed by an unbearable sense of entrapment, Rhodes climbed the ladder to the massive concrete water tank atop their home. He slipped into the cold, dark water and pulled the heavy iron lid shut, sealing himself away from a world that demanded he choose between two loves.

When Rhodes didn't return that night, a frantic Silas and Veda filed a missing person’s report. For three agonizing days, the house was filled with police, neighbors, and a devastated Kiara, but there was no trace of him. On the fourth day, a sickening, sweet scent began to permeate the household water supply. With a mounting sense of dread, Silas climbed to the roof and heaved open the lid of the tank. There, illuminated by the harsh midday sun, the body of their son floated in the very water that sustained them.

The investigation was swift, but the emotional verdict was a life sentence. The silence that followed the funeral was deafening, a constant reminder that their pride had cost them their only child. The guilt became a physical weight, a poison that seeped into their souls long before they reached for the vial. Unable to live in a world where their son was gone because of their own hands, Silas and Veda sat at their dining table one final time, consumed a lethal dose of poison, and died in the crushing shadow of their own regret.

UNSAID WORDS

Throughout our lives—as children, teens, and adults—we are often raised by people who fail to truly understand us. They rarely see the silent internal battles we fight or the immense pressure we face from society. While parenthood is a unique journey intended to provide guidance, parents are often the ones who apply the most pressure, constantly measuring our worth against neighbors and relatives. In those moments, we want to scream, "I am different! Ask me what I am actually interested in!" But most of us never had the courage to say it, knowing that those who did were often scolded or punished.

As adults, we try to bridge this gap, hoping they will finally hear us. Instead, the cycle continues. They lecture us on how to "fit" into society, leading to arguments and, eventually, the painful decision to distance ourselves or leave home entirely.

In my opinion, parents should be our greatest teachers. However, many believe that control is the best way to raise a child, when in truth, they should remain open-minded and listen regardless of the topic. When parents fail to spend quality time with their children, the child begins to feel isolated. The sense of love is lost, and they start searching for someone—anyone—to fill that emptiness.Because they have forgotten what it feels like to be truly cherished, they often mistake basic attention for deep love—a mistake that can derail a life. They end up losing themselves while constantly over-adjusting to, and forgiving, the wrong people. Even for those who eventually find genuine love, that original void often remains.

Our minds are constantly racing with questions: “Why should I?” “Is it worth it?” “Am I enough?” These questions can be overwhelming, but they are also opportunities for growth. For me, the answer is simple: you must come first. The word "you" holds immense significance; recognizing your own value is crucial.

Loving yourself is not selfish; it is essential. When you prioritize your well-being, you are investing in your physical, mental, and emotional health. The "glow" of a nourished soul radiates positivity, allowing you to tackle life's challenges with confidence. This journey of self-discovery is a peaceful path toward personal fulfillment.

Take a moment to reflect on who you are and what makes you unique. Embrace your true self and do not be afraid to be different. You are special, and your individuality is exactly what makes you shine.

The Reunion: A Little More Than Words

The evening air was cooling down when they finally met after what felt like a lifetime apart. After walking inside, she headed straight for the kitchen to steady her racing heart. She drank a glass of water, the coldness grounding her, before sinking into the sofa. She tried to distract herself by scrolling through reels, but her mind wasn't on the screen. Across the room, he switched on the TV, the familiar commentary of a cricket match filling the space.

She stood up, walked over to the bed where he was sitting, and settled in close beside him. Without a word, they folded into each other. The hug was tight, a desperate attempt to make up for lost time.

"I missed your scent," he whispered into her hair, his voice low.

"I missed everything," she replied, pulling back just enough to look at him. They shared a kiss that tasted like home—soft, lingering, and full of relief.

They began to talk, catching up on the small details of their days, but she wanted to truly see him. Intentionally, she shifted closer, locking her gaze onto his. She watched as a flash of beautiful nervousness crossed his face.

"Is the match that interesting?" she asked playfully, her eyes never leaving his.

He chuckled nervously, his eyes darting toward the TV for a split second before being pulled back to her. "I... I honestly couldn't tell you the score right now."

She reached out, her fingers grazing his jawline before she gently took hold of his chin. She guided his face so he had no choice but to look at her. "Then stop looking at the screen," she murmured. "Look at me."

He tried to continue his story about work, but as her thumb brushed his lower lip, his voice hitched. "And then... then Camillo said... he said..." His words got stuck in his throat. He went silent, completely captivated by the intensity in her eyes.

"You're nervous," she teased softly.

"You do this on purpose," he admitted, his voice a breathless rasp. "You know exactly what you're doing to me."

"Maybe I do," she smiled, leaning her forehead against his. "I just wanted to make sure you were really here. That this isn't a dream."

He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her flush against him so there wasn't an inch of space left between them. "I'm here. And I'm not going anywhere."

The cricket match continued to play in the background, a blur of motion and sound that neither of them noticed. The distance was a memory, the nerves had turned into a deep, pulsing peace, and for the first time in months, the world felt quiet. They stayed like that—talking, laughing, and simply being—wrapped in the perfect, happy ending of a long-awaited day.

LIVE LAUGH DISSOCIATE

HI EVERYONE!

It's been months since i wrote a blog.I'm back with my works again.

Recently i saw a post on instagram which said "LIVE,LAUGH,DISSOCIATE".It is a perfect phrase that can be related to anyone. That "dissociating" can actually be a healthy form of self-awareness. From "LIVE,LAUGH,LOVE"  to "LIVE,LAUGH,DISSOCIATE": A New Philosophy for Inner Peace. We have all seen the classic home decor slogan: "LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE." It’s a phrase that represents an aspirational desire for simple happiness and constant presence. However, a new version has been circulating on social media that feels much more honest for the world we live in today: "LIVE, LAUGH, DISSOCIATE."At first glance, it’s a joke. The humor comes from the sharp juxtaposition of a cheerful, "Pinterest-perfect" lifestyle slogan with a psychological term for mental detachment. In psychology,

Everyone has a purpose or a part of their inner life that they keep to themselves. Sometimes, we can’t open up these deep corners even to those closest to us. This isn’t an act of ignoring others; it’s a recognition of personal space. In every relationship, there must be a sanctuary for yourself. This is where the new slogan becomes a tool for self-preservation:Live, Laugh, Love: Do this with "your people." Be present, be happy, and lean into the connection with those who support your soul.Live, Laugh, Dissociate: Use this with the people your instincts tell you to stay away from.

When you are in a situation with someone who drains you or makes you feel unsafe, you can still "live" the life you're in and "laugh" during the conversation to remain polite. But the "dissociate" happens afterward—or even during—as a way to detach your spirit from an environment that hurts you. This isn’t about being "fake" or "acting." It is self-aware self-protection. It is the act of acknowledging that you are being hurt or drained and choosing to move your mental energy elsewhere to survive the moment. In a world that demands we give 100% of ourselves to everyone, "Live, Laugh, Dissociate" is a reminder that your inner peace is yours to guard.

WHERE IS PATIENCE?

Patience: What's the Meaning?
Many of us have forgotten the true meaning of patience. We lack patience in waiting, thinking, and almost every aspect of life. From children to adults, continuous questioning can irritate some people, leading to unnecessary reactions in every situation. Every problem has a situation, but we're often not ready to think critically.

I've seen people seeking solutions to problems, but they complicate things further with overthinking. My advice is to "Calm down and take deep breaths." Reflect on how the issue started and why. If the problem lies within, apologize. If not, explain it to them. If they don't understand, it might be due to their limited perspective, not necessarily because you're wrong.

It's common for people to be selfish and react impulsively. However, situations should be handled with a calm and present mind. As the saying goes, "Boiling water doesn't show reflections." So, think before you react.

"BE YOU,FOR YOU"

Embracing Your True Self: A Journey of Self-Discovery

Hey everyone!
As I sit down to reflect on life, I find myself pondering a profound question: Have you ever wondered who you are? This is exactly what I want to convey here – the importance of understanding and embracing our true selves.

We often find ourselves acting differently around different people. We adapt our behavior, tone, and even our personalities to fit in or impress others. But have we ever stopped to think about who we truly are? Perhaps we have, but I'd argue that we often prioritize others' perceptions over our own self-awareness. When we do this, we risk losing ourselves in the process.

Our minds are constantly racing with questions like "Why should I?" "Is it worth it?" "Am I right?" and many more. These questions can be overwhelming, but they're also opportunities for growth and self-reflection. For me, the answer is simple: you come first. The word "you" holds immense significance, and recognizing its importance is crucial.

We meet new people every day, and some become close friends while others fade away. But in our quest to fit in, we often compromise our authenticity. Changing personalities for others isn't cool – it's essential to be yourself, unapologetically. There will be times when you'll face challenges alone, and the thoughts you once held dear may be tested. However, it's in these moments that you'll discover the importance of self-love.

Loving yourself is not selfish; it's essential. When you prioritize your well-being, you're investing in your physical, mental, and emotional health. The glow of your soul will radiate positivity, motivating you to tackle life's challenges with confidence. This journey of self-discovery and self-love is a peaceful path that leads to personal growth and fulfillment.

So, take a moment to reflect on who you are and what makes you unique. Embrace your true self, and don't be afraid to be different. You are special, and your individuality is what makes you shine.
