RANDOM
Three little words, yet meanings so deep,
Three precious truths that we fail to keep.
Love to be shared, lust felt with grace,
Life to be lived at our own pace.
Love should be honest, tender, and true,
A feeling that grows in all that we do.
Lust, when embraced with pleasure and care,
Is a desire that two willing hearts may share.
And life is a gift, a beautiful art,
Meant to be lived with a passionate heart.
But look at the world, at the lives we lead,
Where love is a game and lust is a need.
Love has become just a moment's play,
And life itself feels like a price to pay.
Lust turns to hunger, an endless desire,
Burning the soul in a self-made fire.
We search for love in the wrongest of places,
In fleeting attraction and beautiful faces.
We mistake being wanted for being known,
Yet wonder why we still feel alone.
For beauty may capture the eyes for a while,
But only the soul can make the heart smile.
The purest of love is not always displayed,
Sometimes it is hidden, unspoken, delayed.
Even our parents, who love us the most,
May hide their affection, though they stand close.
Their love may be silent, their words may be few,
Yet their hearts hold a love that is steady and true.
Perhaps that is the love we seek to find,
A love that is patient, gentle, and kind.
Not one that demands, nor one that controls,
But one that embraces our imperfect souls.
Not beauty alone, nor a face to adore,
But a bond that means something far more.
For what is the point of a love without depth,
A promise that fades with each passing breath?
If bodies draw closer but souls never meet,
Can physical longing make a connection complete?
For lust may burn bright like a flame in the night,
But without understanding, it cannot be light.
Lust is not evil; desire is human,
A natural feeling, both woman and man.
But when it is offered with no thought or care,
To anyone passing, to all who are there,
We lose what makes intimacy precious and rare,
Mistaking attention for something we share.
Not every desire deserves to be shame,
Not every connection deserves the same name.
But when we confuse lust with love's sacred flame,
We wound our own hearts in the pursuit of a name.
We rush into bonds that we barely understand,
Then grieve when they crumble like castles of sand.
And life? Oh, life is much more than romance,
More than a heartbreak, a kiss, or a chance.
Yet some let a lost love darken their skies,
Forgetting the beauty that right before them lies.
They call living a burden, their dreams left behind,
While life's greatest treasures wait for them to find.
Why label each feeling as wicked or wrong?
Why silence the heart when it longs to be strong?
Love is not weakness, and lust is not sin,
And life is not lost when the hard days begin.
The fault lies not in the feelings we feel,
But in the wounds we refuse to heal.
Living is art, and we all hold the brush,
Yet some paint their lives with regret and with rush.
So paint with your courage, your laughter, your dreams,
With colours far brighter than sorrow's dark streams.
Be artists of life, let your true colours shine,
Create something beautiful, something divine.
Let love be a choice, not a game to be played,
Let lust be a feeling, not a debt to be paid.
Let life be a journey, not a race to the end,
A story of growth, of each foe turned friend.
For love is a feeling, lust is desire,
And life is the canvas on which we aspire.
Three L’s, three truths, three reasons to live—
Love with your soul, desire with care,
and live with all you have to give.
